Well here are some of the woollen designs as promised. I've still got so many idea in my head so more designing for me tonight!

(I Love this one!)

I quite like this design, mainly because of the skirt- it just drapes down and looks quite effective and works well with the bodice.

This is the overall sheet for these designs. I think fitting four different designs to a page works well. I especially like the layout of the page - four then two on the top half, then two then four on the bottom.

Sheep Inspiration gone WILD

Oh my...
These Wool designs have got me drawing like crazy - So much inspiration! Who knew those cute little sheep just sitting around in a field would give me so many idea's? not me any how.
Can't wait to upload photos and show you guys. Should hopefully have them finished by tomorrow.

That sheep looks familiar....Like me when I'm having 'one of THOSE hair days' which is just about everyday..!

Bridal Wear Designs

Bridal Wear Collection
Here is a few designs I have picked out from some of the collections I have created. Just little snip-it tasters for you!

This design is definitely one of my favourites. The peplum bodice would be made with white silk and lace, and I think it would benefit from having minimal beading detail.-I don't want it looking too busy. It has a high neck with cut out shoulders, and would have cotton beading detail down the back. I am in love with the skirt - it has the tight fitted knee length underskirt, made with silk, along with the see-through chiffon skirt with pleating detail that would fall lightly onto the ground.

This is a very cutesy, girly design, very simplistic. I like the finely cut shape of the lace bodice and how the skirt has three different stages to it.

I really like this tight fitted, simple, timeless dress. It has quite a sexy look to it, but I think as it is not overdone with lace this would be a piece that would suit any woman wishing to look good on her big day. Especially with the little peplum around the waist, Great for flattering any figure.

I am forever driving past sheep in a field on my way to work in the morning. They are so amusing - All you have to do is just sit and watch them whilst waiting in the long traffic queues in Dyce are at a standstill. They are all so full of personality.
But I was just thinking and they have inspired me to create a Bridal Wear Collection made from wool. So far (in my head) I have came up with some (hopefully) good ideas for some new designs. Just need to put pen to paper and I will get these uploaded for you all to see soon!

Halloween continued..

Thought I would be as well uploading these seen as I am on a roll with this blog at the moment.

This is my final sketches and rough layout of how I would be putting together the cloak, mainly just rough sketches to get an idea of how I was going to be able to do this. I love the planning stage - just being able to experiment with different fabrics and designs. For me, I find that this is the best part about designing.

Below you will see the final cloak, it didn't come down at the front of me as I had expected, but this is what happens when you leave things till last minute..which for me is usually the case in every scenario. Overall though I did really like the cloak - the hood was the best part, it was SO big that when you through it over your head it would hide your entire face. Cosy for the winter months though!

Hello,

Just trying to get this page up and running so I can post you guys my fashion designs. So far I have created a wedding collection - photos will be uploaded in time - which I love. I quite like simplistic designs, but with a provocative edge to them.

I haven't created a blog before so this might take a while to get up and running as its all new to me and I have no idea what to do!

Hopefully in the future I will begin posting images that I have found for inspiration etc. for my designs.

Here is a little taster of my what my blog will have to offer (see image). This was just a few ideas I had put together for Halloween - ended up making myself a Little Red Riding Hood cloak.

Fingers crossed this goes well!
